Glenwood Leylo, born in Atlanta, raised on the Eastside. Early on, Glenwood started pursuing his love for rap music. He begin writing music and rapping at the age of 12. He opened for artist such as Pastor Troy, Bow Wow, and Beyoncé, wrote a song for the movie Players Ball soundtrack, and recorded several rap cds.
Growing up on the streets of Atlanta, Glenwood had a rough childhood; however, despite the many obstacles he faced, Glenwood refused to be defeated. He continued on the music path by recording additional mixtapes and starting up his own company Digimob Entertainment LLC. Under his label Digimob, Glenwood has managed different artist, directed, filmed, and edited music videos and movies.
Now a father of three beautiful children, film maker, actor, and business owner Glenwood has decided to move away from the music industry and place his primary focus on film making. Glenwood Leylo wrote and directed his first independent full feature film “Fakin the Movie” set to release in December 2014. This movie has been compared to movies such as Boyz n the Hood and Friday. He also has numerous scripts and movies in the vault ready to be produced and published.
